The Surveyor will ascertain if anything such as electrics, ventilation, extraction, fire protection etc. does not meet the current Building Regulations standards as well as assess for cold air ingress and damp.
During the survey, the Surveyor will complete a detailed on-site report which will include all of the external assessments undertaken and any defects or deteriorations that were noted.
For the interior, all defects will be noted, along with the reason for the defect compared to the relevant standards. Our report will include all recommendations required to correct the detailed issues, in order to bring the property up to the expected and legally required standard.

Once you have confirmed the booking we arrange for the surveyor to attend the property and carry out the detailed survey which takes approx. 1 – 3 hours. We also provide an ETA on the day before and an update on the day. Our surveyors are very prompt and reliable.
Once the surveyor has completed the survey he will finish the detailed report which is then sent to our office (within 3 days) to be approved and checked. You then receive the survey report and can evaluate the content. If you have questions you can email us and we will address them.
